Delicious German Comfort Food in Miami! 🥨🍖✨
We were warmly welcomed by Helen as we entered the New Schnitzel House 😊. She seated us and kindly answered all our questions about their most popular German dishes. We were excited to explore the menu 🍽️. Having never visited their previous location, this was a completely new experience for us—and it did not disappoint! We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious interior and the seamless blend of outdoor and indoor dining areas 🌿🏠. The restaurant also features two bars—one inside and one outside—making it a vibrant and cool spot to hang out! The atmosphere has a fantastic 80s pop-art vibe —casual yet chic. We absolutely loved it! The tables were well-spaced, the chairs were comfortable, and the lighting was dim but not dark, creating a relaxed and calm mood 😌. The color scheme of the furniture, artwork, and woodwork was tastefully chosen and added to the cozy vibe. Our server, the experienced Antenor, took excellent care of us . His timing was impeccable, our water glasses were always full, and his food recommendations were spot-on! For appetizers, we enjoyed a delicious giant pretzel with assorted mustards, mushrooms with fennel, and a German mac-and-cheese-style spätzle 🧀🍄. For our mains, my daughter had the chicken schnitzel, and I went with the veal schnitzel—both were tender, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor . We paired them with creamy mashed potatoes 🥔. To drink, I had a glass of Carignan "La Patience," while Larissa tried an old-fashioned made with Wild Turkey bourbon 🥃. Everything tasted amazing! The portions at New Schnitzel House are very generous, so we ended up with three doggy bags to take home . Thankfully, we saved room for dessert—and I'm so glad we did, because the German cheesecake was one of the best I’ve ever tasted! 🍰 Larissa had the apple crumble and loved it just as much 🍎. We enjoyed a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner here and will definitely be back 🎉. There’s plenty of free parking behind the building, so no worries there 🅿️. The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible . We highly recommend making a reservation—especially on Saturday nights, as it gets very busy! #GermanFood #ComfortFood #SchnitzelHouse #CozyVibes #PopArtStyle #DiningExperience #FamilyMeal #MustTryDessert #WheelchairAccessible #FreeParking #NYEDinner #FoodReview #WillReturn 🌟🍴
