Delicious Japanese Teppen Ramen in Midtown Manhattan ๐
I went for lunch and noticed that most of the customers were Japanese people working nearby. ๐๐ธ I ordered the special Dan Dan noodles with less broth, and hereโs what I thought: Itโs better than the ramen Iโve had in Japan! ๐ ๐ฃ The flavors were incredibly rich and well-balancedโsomething I didnโt expect to find outside of Japan. Itโs better than the regular Dan Dan noodles I had last time! ๐ ๐๐ธ The special version had an extra layer of depth, with more pronounced spices and a thicker sauce that really enhanced the overall taste. The noodles are incredibly chewy, the pork is super fragrant, and the sauce is thick and delicious! ๐ ๐ฃ Each bite was a perfect blend of textures and flavors. The noodles had a great bite to them, and the pork was so tender and flavorful. It almost rivals the famous Zuo Pian Zi noodles in Chengdu! ๐ฅข ๐๐ธ For a moment, I felt like I was back in Chengdu, enjoying those iconic noodles. The only catch? Zuo Pian Zi noodles cost just a few RMB, while this bowl at Teppen, with tax and tip, came to $25! ๐ ๐ฃ Teppen Ramen East 55th Street, New York, NY #JapaneseRamen ๐ #SatisfyYourStomach ๐ฝ๏ธ #JapaneseCuisine ๐ #NYCJapaneseFood ๐ฃ
