Delicious Seafood at Newport Beach đŠ
Letâs talk about Rockin' Baja Lobster - Newport Beachâa spot that wins over foodies with its tasty seafood, even if itâs not the fanciest place around! First, the location: Itâs right by the beach, but donât expect ocean views from your table. That said, itâs easy to fixâjust take a leisurely walk along the shore after eating to digest (the sea breeze makes it totally worth it đ). Parking nearby is a breeze too, though youâll have to pay for it during the day đ żïž. Now, the interior: Itâs pretty basic, and the tables felt a little sticky when we sat down. But donât let that scare you offâthe food more than makes up for it! We ordered the Golden Sombrero Fest, which is supposed to be for 2-3 people. But if youâre not huge eaters, itâs easily enough for 4âtotal bang for your buck! The platter is packed with goodness: Lobster and king crab legs đŠđŠ (meaty and fresh, with that classic seafood sweetness) Shrimp (my favorite part! Theyâre fried, but not greasyâ the outer coating is super crispy, and you can even eat the shell if you want đ) Steak and chicken breast (tender and well-seasoned, a nice non-seafood option for the group) Sides like corn, salad, Mexican beans, rice, and tortillas (so you can make little wrapsâperfect for mixing flavors!) All the seafood is fried, but itâs light enough that you wonât feel weighed down. The dry seasoning sprinkled on top is just rightâsalty, savory, and never overpowering. Overall, this place is a solid pick if youâre craving hearty, delicious seafood without the âfancy restaurantâ price tag. Weâll definitely be back next time weâre in Newport Beach! #NewportBeach #LosAngelesFood #IrvineFood #Seafood #MexicanSeafood
