Delicious Seafood with a View of the Mississippi! 🌊🍤🌅

On December 30, 2024, my family and I enjoyed an unforgettable dinner here. We had made a reservation and were promptly seated in the second-floor bar area – a perfect spot with sweeping views of the mighty Mississippi River. 🏞️✨ Shortly after settling in, our server arrived, took our drink orders, and gave us time to explore the menu. We decided to start with fried calamari and fried alligator as appetizers 🦑🐊, and for our mains, we chose the Blackened Redfish Courtbouillon, Gulf Coast Classic, and the Fried Oyster Seafood Platter. The appetizers arrived fresh and piping hot – generously portioned for the three of us but not overwhelming. They were fried to perfection: crispy, golden, and full of flavor. The dipping sauces complemented them beautifully without overpowering the delicate taste of the calamari and alligator. Our main courses were just as impressive – served hot and full of soul. The courtbouillon was rich and savory but didn’t overshadow the tender redfish. The dirty rice had a nice spicy kick 🥵🍚 with plenty of meat mixed in, while the red beans and rice with andouille sausage were hearty and warmly seasoned. The seafood platter was larger than expected – featuring two large fish fillets, plump shrimp, juicy oysters, crispy fries, and onion straws 🍟🧅. We all shared a bit of everything, and the breading was perfectly seasoned – not too salty or overpowering. Service was attentive yet unobtrusive – just the way it should be. We left with full hearts, happy taste buds, and memories to cherish. We’ll definitely be back! #SeafoodWithAView #MississippiDining #FamilyDinner #FriedAlligator #CajunFlavor #PerfectService #NOLAEats #MemorableMeals #WillReturn 😋🎉👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
