📍 London Food Recommendation: Greyhound Cafe 🍽️ A Thai friend recommended Greyhound Cafe, and I finally got the chance to visit during the recent Reading Week. I’ve tried many Thai restaurants in London, but this one has my favorite ambiance, especially at night when the atmosphere is perfect for photos. The food is also amazing! 🌟 🍤 **Snacks & Appetizers** 🍤 The selection of pre-meal snacks is super diverse, and they have a “buy 2 get 1 free” deal! - **Crispy Chicken**: It tastes a lot like KFC’s fried chicken. - **Prawns Tempura**: The shrimp are tender and juicy, wrapped in a light, crispy coating. Each bite is incredibly satisfying, especially with the sweet and spicy sauce. Highly recommended – it was gone as soon as it hit the table! 🦐 🌶️ **Chicken Kaprow** 🌶️ A classic Thai dish with fragrant basil leaves. The chicken is stir-fried to be spicy and flavorful, and it pairs perfectly with rice. My friend loved it, and if you enjoy spicy food, this is a must-try! 🍖 🐔 **Grilled Chicken** 🐔 This is my second favorite dish. The chicken is grilled to a slightly crispy exterior while remaining tender inside. The Thai spices and sauce make it absolutely delicious! 🍗 🥘 **Beef Cheek Massaman** 🥘 It’s like a perfect replica of Chinese braised beef. It’s very flavorful and goes great with rice. Just be careful not to mistake the garnishes for meat – the taste is unforgettable! 🍛 🍝 **Pad Thai** 🍖 The Thai stir-fried noodles are a bit on the sweet side, which might not be ideal for those who love spicy food. However, you can ask for extra chili oil to enhance the flavor! 🍳 🌟 **Mango Sticky Rice** 🌟 A classic Thai dessert! The sticky rice is soft, sweet, and served warm, paired with fresh mango. It’s not too sweet and we all loved it! 🥧 🥥 **Red Ruby** 🍓 This dessert is a bit sweeter than the mango sticky rice. If you have a sweet tooth, this is a great option. The combination of coconut and water chestnuts with shaved ice is very refreshing! 🍃 🍸 **Special Cocktails** 🍸 We ordered drinks twice. I particularly recommend the pink one with lychee (I forgot the name). Next time, I’m planning to try the Thai iced tea! 🍃 💰 **Average Spend** We were a group of five, and the average spend was around £27 per person. I think it’s pretty reasonable, and everyone left completely full. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for dates or gatherings.
