Delicious Tripe Soup in Mexico City - La Pancita

A delicious tripe soup located between Condesa and Roma Norte. The soup base tastes similar to borscht. The gamey flavor of the tripe isn't completely eliminated because they don't add many spices while cooking. You need to add lemon when it's served. I ordered the small surtidos (a bit of everything), beef taco, and sparkling water, which cost a total of 205. Actually, the small soup for 120 is enough to fill you up. It comes with a serving of fried pork rinds as an appetizer. Pancita looks red, but it's not spicy at all; it's mainly salty. The tripe is quite tasty, although it's not so delicious that you'd slap the table in amazement. They also have tacos on the menu. Both the beef tongue (lengua) and small intestine (tripa) tacos are decently delicious. Pancita chica is mildly spicy. The beef tripe is extremely tender and has no gamey flavor. The small portion is quite substantial. Squeeze some lime juice🍋‍🟩 into the soup, eat it directly, or scoop out the tripe and wrap it in a corn tortilla🫓; both ways are great, highly recommended🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Tacos dorados de res are fried beef taco rolls, topped with lots of cheese🫕 and sprinkled with cheese crumbs🧀. The corn tortilla is crispy, and the beef is tender, very good, highly recommended🌟🌟🌟🌟. Libro (tripe) and cacarizo (money stomach) need to be ordered early. When I came at two in the afternoon, they were already sold out. Today, my soup had grass tripe, beef skin, beef hoof, beef, and two slices of fried pork rinds were included. The taste is still very good. #MexicoCityExploration #MexicoCity #MexicanRestaurant #RomaNorte
