Denver | Super Cute Coffee Shop: Onto Coffee
Just discovered this adorable little spot tucked away in Lakewood. The dog logo at Onto Coffee is just too cute β totally irresistible for anyone who loves charming design πΆπ. βοΈ Drinks First I have a strong suspicion the owner might be Chinese π β spotted "Guihua Latte" (osmanthus latte) written in pinyin on the menu and immediately ordered it. Honestly though, I didnβt really taste the osmanthus β it was more noticeably sweet. If youβre not into sweet drinks, maybe skip this one. My friend got the Hong Kong latte β a slight coffee acidity came through, but it was still on the sweet side overall. π₯ͺ Now the Food They focus on chicken cutlet sandwiches, Japanese onigiri, and at lunch they also serve beef rice bowls. π Spicy Chicken Katsu β tasty, but I started feeling a bit halfway through. π Japanese Onigiri β seriously huge and bouncy! The rice texture was excellent, nice and grainy. Lots of filling options like crab, mushrooms, and more β decent but not mind-blowing. π Beef Rice Bowl β my personal favorite. The rice was firm and distinct, beef seasoning was good, but the whole thing was a bit dry β not much sauce. π Wrap-Up Iβd come back here. The food isnβt βwow amazing,β but the vibe really adds points β great for sipping coffee, having a light meal, and just chilling out. Pretty popular β might be full during peak hours, so try visiting off-peak if you can! #Denver #DenverFoodExploration #StudentFoodFinds #CoffeeShopVibes #CuteSpots #LakewoodEats βπ₯ͺ
