🍵 Denver Dim Sum Review | Fortune Kitchen 💫

Recently, everyone seems to be heading to Star Kitchen – but let me share another spot I’ve been visiting more often lately: Fortune Kitchen! The location is more convenient – after dim sum, you can easily swing by an Asian market, Costco, or grab boba. One-stop comfort! ✅ Recommended: • Siu Mai (Pork & Shrimp Dumplings) More satisfying than their har gow – meatier and fragrant. Solid overall. • Phoenix Claws (Chicken Feet) & Steamed Pork Ribs I think they’re better than Star Kitchen’s – more tender, flavorful, and well-balanced. • Fried Shrimp Balls (New Favorite ❤️) A happy, crispy fried snack – dip in sweet sauce for that sweet-salty joy (just easy to get heavy if you eat too many). • Char Siu Pastry & Egg Tarts I enjoy both, but share with friends – two pieces can feel rich. • Chinese Broccoli (Gai Lan) A bit inconsistent – sometimes great, sometimes tough. Overall, Star Kitchen’s gai lan is sweeter and more tender. ⸻ ❌ Not So Recommended: • Har Gow (Shrimp Dumplings) Just okay – not as good as Star Kitchen’s. Wrappers tear easily, and the shrimp lacks that “whole, springy” bite.👌 • Century Egg & Pork Congee Too much ginger, and the flavor is too mild for my taste. • Beef Offal Only tripe – a bit limited in variety, though the flavor is decent.😘😊 • Roasted Squab Try if you’ve never had it, but it’s not exceptional. Quite dry, and the meat has a strong gamey taste (might be the U.S. sourcing). #DenverDimSum #FortuneKitchen #DimSumLovers #ColoradoEats #FoodReview
