🍖 Denver Food Exploration: Perry's Steakhouse & Grille
Known as one of America’s Top 100 steakhouses — and it’s popular! If you don’t reserve a table at least a day ahead, you might end up like us: sitting at the bar 😅 Even the bar was packed — we waited over 30 minutes. Maybe because it was the weekend? 💰 The menu prices are available online — our meal came to $211, and with tip, $250 total. A bit on the pricey side for what we got. 🍽️ The Food Breakdown: Pork Chop 🐖 – My biggest letdown. A bit dry and under-seasoned. For $44, you can get a much better steak elsewhere. Lobster Tail 🦞 – Tempura-battered? Really? The coating totally masked the lobster’s natural sweetness. Felt kinda cheap. Lobster Bisque 🥣 – Pretty flavorful and rich, but too salty. I only had a few sips. Crab Cake & Asparagus 🦀🌱 – Both were fried with breadcrumbs. Tasty, but felt like something you’d get at a casual bar — not a fine dining steakhouse. 🍫 Dessert Saved the Night! We tried a combo first — meh. Then a recommended one — still underwhelming. But then… Mont Blanc! ❤️🔥 The chef poured warm chocolate sauce right at our table — that combo of ice cream + hot fudge was heavenly! It saved the whole meal. 🔥 Overall, this place is high-calorie and high-price. Maybe I’ll come back to try their steak someday… but everything else? Hard pass. #PerrysSteakhouse #DenverEats #SteakhouseReview #FoodieLetdown #DessertWins
