π Denver Food Guide | Thai Restaurant Near Downtown Youβll Love! π
Hey everyone! Not sure how you feel about Thai food, but Iβm absolutely obsessed π There are quite a few Thai spots around downtown β I often grab lunch around here between classes, and honestly, Iβve rarely been disappointed. One of the popular trendy spots, Daughter Thai, is pretty good (though a bit pricey and hard to park ππ¨). But todayβs feature is: π₯ Aloy Modern Thai I went for lunch β it was busy, but the food came out fast and the service was great! The interior is spacious with a cool Thai-meets-modern-American vibe. Thereβs even a central bar πΈ β perfect for a casual date! β Yelp Rating: 4.5 β π¦ Spiced Duck Two roasted duck legs + slow-cooked duck meat in Thai curry. The cherry tomatoes and grapes were a genius touch β sweet & tangy! The skin was crispy, though the meat was a tad dry. Still, a delicious dish! Rating: πππππ π Aloy Noodle Their signature curry stir-fried noodles β like Pad Thai but with yellow curry. Rich curry flavor, though the taste profile is pretty straightforward. A safe pick if you donβt like the tang of traditional Pad Thai. Rating: ππππ π₯ Mango Sticky Rice A bit pricey at $9 for a small portion, BUT β itβs topped with coconut foam instead of regular coconut milk! So light, melts in your mouth, with a strong coconut aroma. Paired with sweet mango and sticky rice β I finished it in one go π«‘ Rating: πππππ π¬ Final Thoughts: Denver does Thai food well β from humble mom-and-pop spots to more polished venues like this. Aloy is on the nicer side, with lunch specials around $25 per person. Street parking available! π Address: 2134 Larimer St, Denver If you love Thai β give it a try!
