π₯ Denver Food Guide (Business Trip Edition) π₯
While on a work trip to Denver, I checked out several well-reviewed spots downtown β honest & unsponsored reviews! Saving this for myself and sharing for anyone who might find it helpful: β€οΈ DOMO A popular spot online, about a 20-min walk from the Convention Center. Located in a quiet area, the exterior looks a bit worn, but it has a lovely Japanese garden where you can dine. The place feels a bit old and has some bugs π, but the service is excellent. Must-tries: Unagi egg roll (soft and sweet) and soy milk chicken hot pot π² β so comforting, perfect for winter! They even include dining instructions. A unique, authentic experience worth trying! β€οΈ La Loma Recommended by the hotel front desk β 15-20 mins walk from the Convention Center. Huge portions! The tortillas are soft and fresh, but it gave me heartburn π (maybe not for everyone). My foreign colleagues loved it. Romantic vibe, great service β go when youβre VERY hungry, or you might end up stuffed like I did! β€οΈ Stout Street Social My colleagues and I ended up here 3 times π Itβs just across from the Convention Center. The menu has everything β from fish & chips π, steak, to Beijing duck tacos and sushi. Surprisingly, I fell in love with their fish & chips β so good! β€οΈ Tamayo Sounds Japanese but itβs Mexican! Small portions, pricey πΈ, tasty but slow service. Nice atmosphere, but I left still hungry π₯Ή Not highly recommended. β€οΈ Menya Ramen & Poke ~15 mins from the Convention Center. A Japanese spot run by Koreans? Food quality was just okay β felt a bit rushed and low-effort. Not my top pick. β€οΈ Pho 92 Close to Denver Airport β went right after my flight! The pho is on par with most LA Vietnamese spots, but the service was cold βοΈ. No need to go out of your way for it. #DenverEats #DenverFood #BusinessTripBites #FoodReview #DenverDining #TravelAndEat #FoodieDiary
