Denver M9 Wagyu Dipped in Egg Wash—One Bite and I’m Speechless 😋

This time, three of us tried their new sukiyaki set—the M9 Denver 200 Sukiyaki Set for two, priced at $178. This set includes two servings of Australian M9 Wagyu slices (one plate of M9 Denver cut, plus two more plates of regular M9 Wagyu, totaling 500g of Wagyu!), a vegetable platter, udon noodles, and three pasteurized eggs 🥚. We’ve tried several of their sets before—I recall having an A5 + M9 combo before (though I can’t remember the exact price). But this $178 set felt like really great value! The amount of meat was totally enough for three of us girls. Personally, I prefer M9 over A5—A5 can be a bit too fatty and oily for my taste. So, expensive doesn’t always mean it’s the best match for your palate, hehe~ 😉 IKKAI has always impressed with their meat quality—beautiful marbling and visibly fresh! I like my meat medium-rare, so I take the slices out just as they turn color with a hint of pink, then dip them in the egg wash…absolute perfection! 🤤 We also ordered some sides—their takoyaki is currently half-price at just $3.9, and the fried shrimp is also half-off at $5.9 🍤. Both were delicious! IKKAI 📍 Address: 113 Hardware St, Melbourne VIC 3000 #Denver #ColoradoFood #SkiColorado #Steamboat 🏔️
