Denver Metro Area Coffee Shop Reviews! ☕️🏔️

I recently revisited 📍Kaffe Landskap and noticed some changes! This Nordic-style café used to source its beans from New York, making it truly unique in Colorado’s coffee scene. However, I learned from the barista that the owner decided to switch to local roaster Sweet Bloom due to supply chain challenges with shipping beans from afar. While Sweet Bloom is undoubtedly high-quality, the flavor profile isn’t as distinct as the original New York beans. 😕 Several other cafés in Colorado also use Sweet Bloom, so the uniqueness has faded. Additionally, some breakfast items have changed – for example, the avocado toast no longer comes with scrambled eggs 🥑🍞, and the bread isn’t as soft and fluffy as before. 😭 On the bright side, their baked goods remain delicious and are still worth trying! 🥐😋 Just as I was feeling disappointed about Kaffe Landskap’s changes, I discovered 📍Kaffe Are – a newly opened Nordic-inspired café! The name alone gives it away, and the aesthetic (natural wood + pastel blue decor) feels refreshing and cool, especially during hot summer days. ❄️🌞 The best part? They use beans from Kaffe Landskap in New York! It felt like rediscovering a lost treasure. 🎉💎 A coffee-loving colleague even looked it up and mentioned that Kaffe Are might be run by brothers connected to the original Kaffe Landskap. While their pastries are good, I still prefer Kaffe Landskap’s bakery items. Another gem worth mentioning is 📍The Wild! Although it’s labeled as a cocktail bar on maps 🍸, they open at 8 AM and serve coffee and brunch! ☕️🍳 They source their beans from Middle State, a respected local roaster in Colorado. 😍 The entrance is easy to miss since it’s not on the main street, but it’s worth finding with the help of a map. 🗺️ And if you come back in the evening, their cocktails are fantastic too! 🍹🌟 #USA #Denver#DenverCoffee #CoffeeReview #NordicCoffee #LocalRoasters #SweetBloom #MiddleState
