Denver Notes | Botanic Gardens ๐Ÿ’š A Warm, Quiet Escape Among the Trees

Visited the Denver Botanic Gardens about two weeks ago โ€” just getting around to sharing now, stretching out those calming vibes from the trip a little longer ๐ŸŒฟ Itโ€™s what you might call a โ€œclassicโ€ botanic garden โ€” greenhouses, themed landscapes, a small but lovely Japanese garden. But what really stood out was the sense of peace the plants brought. That humid, earthy air in the greenhouse reminded me of Hainan or Beihai โ€” sudden warmth, sudden nostalgia. There was this strikingly abstract moon gate that stuck in my mind ๐ŸŒ™โ€ฆ simple, poetic, quietly beautiful. I spent about 2โ€“3 hours wandering โ€” no rush, just breathing it all in. Afterward, I took the train from Union Station to the airport, walked the (surprisingly massive) terminals, faced a little delay โœˆ๏ธ, and just like that โ€” the trip was over. If youโ€™re ever in Denver and need a slow, soft place to pause โ€” the Botanic Gardens will hold you gently. #DenverBotanicGardens #PlantTherapy #QuietEscape #JapaneseGarden #GreenhouseVibes #SlowTravel #NatureHeals #DenverDiaries #MindfulWandering
