Denver Solo Trip (Car-Free Guide) ๐ถโ๏ธ
I squeezed in 4 days of exploring Denver after a work conference in late Aprilโno rental car needed! The highlight? A guided day trip to Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) ๐๏ธ that blew my expectations! ๐ถโ๏ธ Itinerary DAY 1: Downtown Walk ๐ป Big Blue Bear โ ๐๏ธ Larimer Square (vintage shops!) โ ๐ญ Dairy Block โ ๐ Union Station โ ๐ REI Flagship (converted train factory). DAY 2: Art & Culture ๐จ Populus Hotel (eco-chic!) โ ๐๏ธ Colorado State Capitol (free tours + golden dome views!) โ ๐จ Denver Art Museum (check free days!) โ ๐ต Botanic Gardens (Uber required). ๐๏ธ RMNP Tour Review I almost skipped itโglad I didnโt! Our guide went the extra mile (literally!) to spot wildlife: ๐ฆ Fox family near the park entrance ๐ฆ Elk, deer, and more inside the park ๐ฐ A prospector in our group even showed us his vial of gold flakes (mined from the Rockies!). Why tour? โ No stress driving solo โ Expert wildlife spotting โ Safety in remote areas ๐ Food Hall of Fame (and Shame) โค๏ธ RED LIST (Must-Try!) ๐ฅข Star Kitchen โ Legit dim sum with carts! ๐ Moobongri Soondae โ $17 spicy pork neck stew (huge portions!). ๐ง Milk Tea People โ Best cheese foam drinks (colleague smuggled one to the airport!). ๐ฅ Snooze โ Fluffy 3-flavor pancakes (perfect sweetness). ๐ฝ๏ธ Earls โ Solid "white people food" (great for biz meals). ๐ค BLACK LIST (Avoid!) ๐ Jinya Ramen โ Overhyped, awful noodles (only drinks/sides were edible). ๐ Aloy Modern Thai โ Too sweet (takeout fail). ๐ก Next Time, Iโllโฆ โ๏ธ Soak in hot springs with mountain views ๐ Catch a Nuggets game at Ball Arena ๐๏ธ Hike Red Rocks + Pikes Peak #DenverTravel #SoloTrip #RMNP #FoodieFails #NoCarNeeded
