Denver Travel Diary. 🏔️📔

Just spent two weeks working from Colorado with several days in Denver—here are my honest thoughts! 1️⃣ Weather/Climate: One word—DRY! 🏜️🔥 My throat felt like a desert every day. Had to chug water + vitamin C nonstop 💦🍊. Skin? Body cream was a must—lotion didn’t stand a chance 🙈🧴. 2️⃣ Geography: As Colorado’s capital, Denver is super accessible ✈️🚗. The airport is huge (and confusing 😵). Just 1.5-2 hours from Rocky Mountain National Park 🏞️ and 1 hour from Garden of the Gods ⛰️! But the altitude hit hard—woke up with headaches every morning at first 🥴💆♀️. 3️⃣ Food & Drinks: Denver’s food scene is vibrant! 🍽️🌟 Mostly contemporary American—nothing like greasy, oversized “village” meals. Think refined flavors and chic settings… but be ready to wait in line! 🕑😋 The breweries are legendary 🍻—tried multiple local craft beers and loved them! Also heard Colorado peaches rival Georgia’s 🍑👀. 4️⃣ Activities: Super close to the spots above! 🚗💨 Outlets 40 mins south for shopping 🛍️ Red Rocks Park 35 mins away—go in the morning before concerts take over! 🎵🏟️ Skiing in winter 🎿❄️ 5️⃣ Housing: Homes may be older, but they’re well-kept with manicured lawns and artistic gardens 🏡🌷🎨. Overall, Denver feels young, energetic, and full of life! 🎉❤️ Perfect for outdoor lovers and foodies alike. #USA #Denver#DenverDiaries #WFHtravel #ColoradoLife #AltitudeProblems #DryClimate #FoodieHeaven
