🚂 Departing from New York 📝 2-Day Philadelphia Itinerary

Since I didn’t want a "special forces-style" rushed trip, the schedule isn’t packed too tightly. 🚂 Day 1 Left from Penn Station around noon via Amtrak; it takes an hour and a half to reach Philadelphia. (Important note!) You’d better buy tickets in advance. We only bought ours one or two days before the trip—not only were the tickets super expensive, we almost couldn’t get any at all 😱 In the afternoon, we first explored the UPenn campus and Lin Huiyin’s former residence 🏛️ 🏡 House of Our Own Books 3920 Spruce St, Philadelphia, PA 19104, United States It’s now a small bookstore with both used and new books 📚 After visiting UPenn, we headed downtown. City Hall is right in the center. Philadelphia’s downtown area is extremely small—basically, it only takes about 10 minutes to walk anywhere 🚶🏻 🚂 Day 2 In the morning, we went straight to the Liberty Bell. There are several connected buildings here, and it takes roughly an hour and a half to finish visiting them all ⏱️ We originally planned to visit several museums based on travel guides, but we ran out of time, so we picked one located in the downtown area. 🏡 The Mütter Museum at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia 19 S 22nd St, Philadelphia, PA 19103, United States This museum exhibits human specimens and all kinds of bizarre specimens of rare diseases—it even has slices of Einstein’s brain 🧠 It’s quite a "curiosity-driven" spot; the exhibition hall isn’t big, but it’s definitely worth a visit 👍 By the time we left the museum, it was already around 5 PM. We wandered around downtown for a bit, and it was already dark outside 🌙 💨 I’m not sure if we just happened to catch a windy day or if Philadelphia’s weather is always like this—but the wind was super strong! Many railings on the road were even blown askew. On the main streets, I often couldn’t walk because of the wind; for a moment, it felt like I was back in Guangdong during a typhoon 🌀 💨 Next time I go out, I’ll definitely check the weather forecast in advance 📱 #NewYorkDayTrips #NewYork #Philadelphia #UPennPhiladelphia#InternationalStudentTravel #NYU #UPenn #PhiladelphiaTravel#StudyAbroadPLOG #TravelAroundTheWorld
