Derby is a small, cozy place But I really love it here—it’s so peaceful. (Especially) came to Xiaohongshu to recommend this Turkish restaurant 📍 DE1 1SR The service is amazing! They checked on us five times during the meal. If you’re unsure what to order, they’ll patiently recommend dishes And even advise you not to overorder—so thoughtful. We got the mixed grill: chicken and lamb were delicious, and the naan was great too. Only thing: I’d skip the yogurt (but if you like salty yogurt with olive oil, ignore this!). No service charge, huge portions, and affordable. Two people ate for 💷26 Ended up so full, I could barely pull my skirt up. Ps: Opposite the restaurant is a small supermarket run by a Middle Eastern guy—aloe vera juice for £1 a bottle, what a steal! Next to the restaurant is Lidl, perfect for a post-meal browse.
