At the Chinese airport, we only prepared: ✅ Hotel confirmation ✅ Roundtrip flight tickets ✅ $51 visa fee We thought we were fully prepared after checking many guides - until the check-in counter. A rookie staffer told us: "No invitation letter = no boarding." We were stunned 😱. Thankfully, an experienced colleague came to our rescue and clarified the situation. So grateful for helpful people along the way ❤. 🛬 Arrival Process in Dhaka Filled out visa forms on the plane (save time by doing this in advance!) Paid visa fee at airport counter Brief visa interview with just 3 questions: Purpose of visit? Duration of stay? Return date? Our unified answer: "We're tourists!" Then came photo-taking and waiting for stamping. Total time: ~2 hours (mostly queuing). Patience is key - Dhaka operates on its own rhythm 😅. We were lucky to meet kind souls at every step who guided us to payment windows and next procedures.
