Dim Sum with a View at The Shard: A Must-Try Deal! 🏮
Ever since becoming a mom, every outing with my besties feels extra precious (even just once a week is a blessing 🙌). During my postpartum confinement, I stumbled upon this place’s latest £35 dim sum menu, and I’ve been dreaming about it ever since. This time, I finally got my wish! 😋 From 6 to 8 PM, not only can you catch the stunning sunset 🌇 on the 32nd floor, but you can also enjoy the breathtaking night view of Tower Bridge. It’s like I’ve reclaimed a bit of my pre-baby joy. 🥂😌 Hutong’s dim sum has always been among the most exquisite and delicious in London. Usually, it’s a bit pricey, but at this price, you can go all in without a second thought. Choose a sunny day and bring your date or bestie—it’s perfect for either occasion. The seven dim sum dishes in the set are visually stunning and absolutely delicious. They’re creative yet authentic (not Westernized Chinese food, you know what I mean 🤓). Highlights include the delicate Champagne Shrimp Dumplings 🦐, the fragrant Black Pepper Wagyu Puffs , the layered Crab Roe and Cod Seaweed Dumplings , and the lingering Ginger and Scallion Lobster Buns . The three vegetarian options are equally thoughtful, with high-quality ingredients that shine through. We also ordered the restaurant’s signature roast duck (£70), which was as excellent as always. The two spring rolls were a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the dishes, so they’re not a must-order. 📍 Hutong Dim Sum in the Clouds: £35 per person Remember to book in advance and request a window seat for the best views! #LondonFood #HutongLondon #DimSum #LondonLife #HiddenGems #AmbianceRestaurants
