Dining at The St. Regis Vommuli Resort
1️⃣Alba🍴 Cuisine: Buffet breakfast, while lunch and dinner feature Italian and Indian dishes. Recommendation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 💰Cost: Pre-tax, about $100-$200 per person. Here are some dishes I've tried: lobster pasta and curry butter chicken with naan are around $50-$60 each, bottled water is $14, the appetizer garlic shrimp is $42, sea urchin and king crab Italian dumplings are about $60, the daily catch of fish is $58, and the dessert brownie is $32. 🥰Review: The buffet breakfast offers not only a selection of items but also the option to order waffles, crepes, Japanese bento boxes, Indian breakfast, etc. Freshly squeezed juices are unlimited, so you can really dig in at breakfast and save money on lunch. 2️⃣Cargo🍖 Cuisine: Middle Eastern grilled meats 💰Cost: You can manage within $100 per person. The meat platter in picture 11 is $140 and includes 2 steaks, 2 lamb chops, 2 chicken cutlets, and 2 lamb kebabs, along with rice and flatbread, enough to satisfy two people. Recommendation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🥰Review: This is actually my favorite restaurant. It's all about the meat and carbs, offering better value compared to other restaurants. The restaurant is located in a small grove, creating a very charming atmosphere. There are limited seating options, so remember to make a reservation in advance. 3️⃣Orientale🥢 Cuisine: Chinese food Recommendation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 💰Cost: Starting at $150 per person, the grouper in picture 9 is $180 and quite large, almost two pounds, a small portion of fried rice is $40, and sweet and sour chicken is $50. 🥰Review: If you're not set on having Chinese food, I wouldn't highly recommend it. It feels a bit like "white person's food" and doesn't offer much value for the price. #food diary#trip guide#travel diary#local restaurant#Maldives food#Maldives guide#Maldives restaurant#Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort
