Dining and Solving Crimes: An Immersive Murder Mystery šŸ•µļø

🌸Last night, I went to see the new immersive murder mystery play in New York. It’s called Murder Mystery and is held at Carmine’s, a classic Italian restaurant in Times Square. As soon as you walk in, the atmosphere is just perfect. The whole restaurant feels like it’s been transported back to the 1920s Prohibition Era in New York. The waiters are all actors, serving food while performing. I even saw someone at the next table dressed in full vintage movie-style clothes—they really knew how to get into the mood! āŒ The play starts with a retro-style ā€œnewspaper,ā€ one for each person, which explains the background of the story. There’s a gangster boss facing lots of trouble, a popular singer who’s all the rage, and constant fights over alcohol smuggling. šŸ„‚ 🌊 During the meal, a murder happens right beside usā€¼ļø We have to observe the details around us, interact with the background story and other people to find clues and help solve the case. The performance runs throughout the whole evening. It’s like dining while watching a play, which is super worth it. There are also interactive parts where you might be suspected of being a suspect. It’s so engaging! šŸƒThe food is classic Italian cuisine from Carmine’s, served in large portions, family-style. We had chicken parmesan, shrimp, pasta, salad, and dessertšŸ°ā€”everything you could want. It’s a fun mix of eating, reasoning, and laughing. The atmosphere is relaxed, but the story has twists and suspense, making it really interesting! šŸŽ¢I recommend booking tickets in advance, as they usually sell out quickly. It’s perfect for friend gatherings or company team-building events. And you don’t even need to speak English to have a good time. šŸ“200 W 44th St, New York, NY 10036 (The Murder Mystery Company) #NewYork šŸ—½āœØ
