đŒ Dining at a Restaurant Under the Eiffel Tower | 20 Eiffel
When in Paris, my girlfriend insisted on having a meal with the Eiffel Tower in the background. This is probably the most classic "signature dish" of Parisian French cuisine. After comparing maps and reviews, we chose 20 Eiffel. Fortunately, the price is reasonable, with a dinner set menu at âŹ37.5 per person, and the food is up to standard. Booking: Reservations can be made via Google Maps, and walk-ins might also be possible since it's not overly popular. 1ïžâŁ Appetizers: Smoked Salmon and Pumpkin Soup, Nutty Mushroom Soup The traditional soups are enhanced with flavorful ingredients, creating a harmonious taste. The portions are generous enough to leave you half-full after dipping some bread in them. 2ïžâŁ Main Courses: Fish of the Day, Signature Duck Confit It seems like every French restaurant has a Fish of the Dayâgo ahead and order it! It's guaranteed to be delicious. The duck confit is wrapped in cabbage, which might sound unusual, but it works! The cabbage absorbs the meat juices and becomes the tastiest part of the dish. The duck is a bit greasy, but the vegetables balance it out perfectly. đ 3ïžâŁ Desserts: Caramel CrĂšme BrĂ»lĂ©e, Baileys SoufflĂ© Make sure to enjoy the caramel and crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e together in one biteâthe bitterness of the caramel perfectly offsets the sweetness of the crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e. Adding Baileys to the soufflĂ© is a fun option, though it costs an extra âŹ2. đ€Ł P.S. Before visiting, I also checked reviews on xhs, which mostly criticized the service here. However, I didn't experience that during my meal. On the contrary, the waiter paced the dishes according to our eating speed and didn't overly ask about the food or give long-winded introductions. Good food speaks for itself as soon as you taste it. I appreciate this kind of service. #Paris #FrenchRestaurant #EiffelTower #EiffelTowerRestaurant #DuckConfit
