Dining at Napoleon’s Favorite Restaurant

Eating at the restaurant that Napoleon himself would have mortgaged his hat for, is like having dinner with Napoleon himself, right? 😄 Le Procope is said to be the oldest restaurant in Paris, with a history of over three centuries. Many historical figures have dined here. Walking in, you can definitely see the marks of time, with door frames warped, but that old Parisian charm is everlasting.💛 I have to say, this restaurant has the best service I’ve ever experienced in a French restaurant. We brought an outside cake for a friend’s birthday, which is generally not allowed in France, but not only did the waiter let us have it, he also provided extra plates and new cutlery. They even proactively put candles on our desserts and waited for us to finish singing the birthday song. They even learned a Chinese birthday greeting to wish our friend. It felt like the spirit of serving the old nobility has been passed down through the centuries đŸ€ The food was also excellent; their seafood is a standout. The sae bass I had was the best I’ve ever tasted—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with a rich buttery flavor that paired perfectly with the oil cake.💕 đŸœïž Le Procope 💳 Average cost: 30 euros #ParisRestaurant #ParisCafHopping #FrenchCuisine #France #Napoleon #SportsSupportPlan #ParisFood
