Dining in New York ๐
Zoob Zib Thai near Hudson Yard ๐ฟ A small, cozy spot that might have a wait during dinner rush. Owned by Thais, it serves traditional Thai dishes that are just a bit above average. ๐ Grandpa Thai near NYU ๐ฟ The ambiance is quite refreshing, and the food is standard Thai fare. Itโs run by Chinese owners and hits the basic expectations. ๐ Sozar in Midtown ๐ฃ Located near Bryant Park, this Japanese restaurant is also owned by Thais. The food is average, and the price is around $60 per person. ๐ฃ Yipin Sichuan ๐ Near Bryant Park, this Sichuan restaurant is run by Chinese owners. The dishes arrive super quicklyโwithin five minutesโwhich makes it clear they use pre-made meals. Not recommended. ๐ Tonyโs Di Napoli ๐ An Italian restaurant near Times Square. Itโs a family-style eatery with large portions perfect for sharing. We tried their signature seafood pasta, which was just okay. ๐ Additionally, we found a bug in our salad. When we called the waiter over, he casually apologized and later gave us a tasteless cake. The place is also very noisy, making it hard to have a conversation. ๐ #NewYork ๐๐
