Dining on Wagyu at a Place with Kobe Beef Trading Certification 🥩
Average cost: €150+ As a meat lover, you must check out this restaurant in Berlin that has a Kobe beef trading certificate! 🐛🐛🐛 For starters, we ordered Lobster Bisque and Ceviche. The lobster bisque was rich and packed with lobster flavor, perfectly complemented by the bread rolls. The Ceviche featured slightly seared fish with a zesty lemon sauce, making it incredibly appetizing! 🍤🍋 For the main course, we opted for 300g of Wagyu and 500g of large prawns. This was my first time enjoying Wagyu in a Western restaurant 🍴, having previously tried it with rice at Ushido and even cooked some myself at home. The Wagyu paired excellently with coarse salt, though I found that too much can be a bit overwhelming. The 300g portion was just right for two, and we also ordered some sides—salad and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were particularly delicious; I could’ve eaten the whole bowl by myself! 🥔😍 The large prawns were a recommendation from the staff. They were tender and could be easily peeled with a fork. I originally wanted to order a salt-grilled fish, but the staff informed us that all the fish were quite large that day, starting at 900g. That's more suited for two or more people, so I had to pass! I’ll have to come back for fish another time! 🐟 For dessert, we tried the special from the menu. It was pretty average and not very exciting. 🫠 I have to mention their extensive wine list, which was overwhelming! They have quite a few high-end wines, perfect for wine and champagne enthusiasts! 🍷✨ Overall: The meal was enjoyable! However, the pricing didn’t quite match the service level. The distance between tables was too small, and the staff accidentally knocked over a wine glass at the table next to us while serving. Still, it’s worth a visit—don't miss out if you love Wagyu! 🍴🍴🍴 #KobeBeef #LifeInGermany #LifeInBerlin
