ust an hour’s drive from Ann Arbor lies Frankenmuth—a picture-perfect Bavarian-style town that’s cozy, clean, and full of charm! It’s the perfect getaway when you want to escape for a day. 🏡 Stroll Through the Downtown The downtown area is compact and super walkable. You’ll find rows of adorable boutique shops selling handmade crafts, unique cheeses 🧀, authentic German sausages 🌭, and more! I even stumbled upon a beer festival 🍻 and got to taste a variety of locally brewed IPAs. So fun to see everyone socializing over beers—and yes, I spotted Tsingtao Beer there too! 😄 ☕ Must-Try: Creation Coffee Don’t miss out on the famous local coffee—Creation Coffee is absolutely delicious! 🤤 Just around the corner from the café is the Frankenmuth Historical Museum 🏛️. Student admission is only $1, and it’s totally worth it. You’ll learn all about how German immigrants founded this lovely town. Even though the weather was a bit cloudy ☁️, it was still such a photogenic and enjoyable day. Highly recommend if you’re around Michigan!
