Discover the Mysterious Emerald Pendant Glacier Lake 💚

This is a lesser-known but incredibly scenic alpine trail surrounded by mountains and dotted with lakes. The final destination—Seagram Lake—is a stunning sapphire-blue gem 💎. But the beauty comes with challenges: rugged paths with sharp rocks, narrow and steep sections that are tough on vehicles, and muddy, slippery trails that test both your stamina and your gear (👟🥾 RIP shoes and pants!). 📍 Route: Seagram Lake (near Pemberton, BC) 🚗 Navigation: Tricouni Meadows East Trailhead 🛻 Vehicle Requirement: High-clearance 4x4 SUV ONLY 🥾 Hike Details (from Trailhead): 📏 Round trip: ~10 km 📈 Elevation gain: ~500 m 🕒 One way: ~2–2.5 hours ⚠️ Important Note: The “V Pit” 🚧 About 3.3 km from the trailhead, there’s a large V-shaped pit. 🧱 We filled it with rocks, and Cong (in his Jeep Wrangler) made it through easily. We were the only car at the trailhead that day… 💥 If your vehicle can’t cross the pit (see Fig. 18), you’ll have to park at the red dot📍—adding 3.3 km and 486 m elevation gain to your hike. 🚶‍♀️ Challenges: Mud and waterlogged sections—wear waterproof hiking boots + gaiters!
