Discovering Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery 🎨✨
Yesterday, I happened to pass by Victoria Square and noticed the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery was hosting an exhibition called Victorian Radicals. I decided to step in on a whim — and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise! This was actually my first time visiting a museum or art gallery in Birmingham 😊. The exhibition showcases works from the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and the Arts and Crafts Movement, featuring a fascinating range of pieces — from paintings and jewelry 🖼️📿 to metalwork, textiles, furniture, and ceramics 🪑🧵. (The official intro is in the last photo!) The exhibition space isn’t huge, but it’s thoughtfully curated. The museum also has a cafe and a gift shop (pic 13), perfect for a break or picking up a souvenir ☕🛍️. 📅 Opening Hours: Wednesday – Sunday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM 🕐 Exhibition runs until January 5, 2025 📍 Address: Birmingham, B3 3DH 🎟️ Tickets: Adults £11, Children under 15 £6 — booking in advance is recommended. We saw a lot of people entering and simply followed the crowd — and luckily, the staff at the entrance didn’t check our tickets, so we got to enjoy a “free” tour! 🎉🤫 Whether you're an art lover or just curious, this exhibition is definitely worth a visit 🧡👀. #UK #BirminghamMuseum #Birmingham #LifeInBirmingham #ArtExhibition #VictorianRadicals #PreRaphaelite #ArtsAndCrafts #MuseumDay 🏛️🖌️📸
