Discovering Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery π¨β¨
Yesterday, I happened to pass by Victoria Square and noticed the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery was hosting an exhibition called Victorian Radicals. I decided to step in on a whim β and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise! This was actually my first time visiting a museum or art gallery in Birmingham π. The exhibition showcases works from the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and the Arts and Crafts Movement, featuring a fascinating range of pieces β from paintings and jewelry πΌοΈπΏ to metalwork, textiles, furniture, and ceramics πͺπ§΅. (The official intro is in the last photo!) The exhibition space isnβt huge, but itβs thoughtfully curated. The museum also has a cafe and a gift shop (pic 13), perfect for a break or picking up a souvenir βποΈ. π Opening Hours: Wednesday β Sunday, 10:00 AM β 5:00 PM π Exhibition runs until January 5, 2025 π Address: Birmingham, B3 3DH ποΈ Tickets: Adults Β£11, Children under 15 Β£6 β booking in advance is recommended. We saw a lot of people entering and simply followed the crowd β and luckily, the staff at the entrance didnβt check our tickets, so we got to enjoy a βfreeβ tour! ππ€« Whether you're an art lover or just curious, this exhibition is definitely worth a visit π§‘π. #UK #BirminghamMuseum #Birmingham #LifeInBirmingham #ArtExhibition #VictorianRadicals #PreRaphaelite #ArtsAndCrafts #MuseumDay ποΈποΈπΈ
