✅After too many meals in touristy spots, I wanted to go where locals go. This time I purposely skipped the popular spots on Calle Ocho and ventured deeper into the residential streets of Little Havana. That's when I spotted this older neon sign at the corner — 📍La Carreta! The server saw me hesitating over the menu and pointed straight to a few lines, saying these are the dishes longtime regulars have been ordering for decades.💫 Roasted pork, fried squid, sandwiches, coffee. This is authentic Cuban food. Yes, you can get a Cuban sandwich, but you can have so much more. Start with an appetizer or a salad, just like we did.📷 🌴The staff at La Carreta are wonderful.
