🄄 Don’t Miss the Big Island Fruit Stands - Cheap and Delicious

Hawaii Delicacies šŸ‘€ There aren’t many good restaurants on the Big Island of Hawaii, and the few highly recommended poke places seem average… Instead, the high-scoring Seafood and Ramen places I picked myself were tastier. But the fruit is truly inexpensive, sweet, and juicy! Don’t miss the fruit farms and roadside fruit stands! Papaya and coconut are the most common, along with longan, rambutan, and soft persimmons. šŸ’° Be sure to have some Cash on hand for convenience. šŸ‰ Hilo Farmer’s Market | Kona Farmers Market: Farm markets selling local products, mainly fruits like papaya, starfruit, mango, coconut, banana, and less common fruits like longan and rambutan. šŸ˜‚ The longan is big with thick flesh but isn’t juicy and doesn’t taste good… šŸ«¶šŸ» The aunty in the photo was so nice; I thought she miscalculated the money, but she told me it was okay and waived the change. I wanted to say, this is a small business after all. 🌈 There are fruit stands along the road where you can stop for a break, have coconut water, and eat fruit. 🄄 Waipi’o Fruit Shack: They have coconut water and fruit bowls! šŸ Lilinoe Fruit Stand 🄳 I love papaya the most! One papaya a day, so satisfying! šŸ˜ Coconut water is really fresh and sweet, much better than the bottled kind. Remember to have them cut it open after you’re done; it’s full of coconut meat inside. šŸ‰ KTA: A chain supermarket on the Big Island. I usually buy the pre-cut watermelon for convenience. #Hawaii #HawaiiTravel #HawaiiCuisine #BigIslandHawaii #HawaiiFruit #RoadsideStands #Fruit #TropicalFruit #UnexpectedOverseasRoadsideStands #IslandVacation
