Don’t Miss the Royal Museums of Fine Arts in Brussels❗
Who goes to Brussels and doesn’t check out the Royal Museums of Fine Arts??!! It’s truly a hidden gem, okay❓ The famous painting “The Death of Marat” is housed right here. It’s located in the city center, just a 5-8 min walk from the Grand Place in Brussels. Inside, there are several different galleries: the Modern Art Museum, the Classical Art Museum, the Magritte Museum, and the Fin de Siècle Museum. So, be sure to check which areas you can visit with your ticket, as they differ. The museum is huge, with 4 floors above ground and 8 below, so you definitely can’t see it all in one go. It’s best to choose your favorite sections to visit. ❗️Recommend wearing flat shoes and comfortable pants or a skirt, because there’s a lot of walking and climbing involved! There’s a coat and bag check to the right after you enter. It’s a good idea to leave your heavy stuff here and explore light. Tip⚠️: For those looking for the hat and apple homage featured in Jay Chou’s song “The Greatest Work of Art,” it’s in a gallery on the first floor. If you can’t find it, you can show a picture to the staff, and they can help you locate it! ⌚️: Open from 11:00-17:00 I used Petal Maps for navigation, and it also recommends some sightseeing itineraries, which is very comprehensive~ Also, during this trip, having a good data connection was crucial. I was troubled by slow internet speeds before, which was really frustrating, especially when maps and such took forever to load. After doing some research, I tried Huawei’s SkyTone, and I found that Huawei phones are truly amazing when traveling abroad! SkyTone offers various data packages, with fast and stable speeds. You don’t need to swap cards; one card works globally. No worries about slow internet when searching maps! The daily global package is 20💰, which is a bit cheaper than some carriers. Remember not to miss it when you’re in Brussels!!! Besides the regular exhibits, the Royal Museums of Fine Arts also host occasional exhibitions by modern artists. For specific information, you can check the official website or inquire on-site. #HuaweiSkyTone #PetalMaps #TravelAbroad #Travel #InternationalData #GlobalData #InternetAbroad #HuaweiMaps #PetalMaps #PetalMap #Belgium #BelgiumTravel #Brussels #BrusselsTravelGuide #BrusselsExploration #EuropeTravel #EuropeTourism
