In The Hague, thanks to Girl with a Pearl Earring, the Mauritshuis Museum has become a legendary spot. 🖼️✨ However, there's another place with a totally different vibe—Voorlinden Museum, far from the city center and lesser-known. 🌳🏡 Starting from The Hague's central bus station, it’s about a 10-minute ride, followed by a 20-minute walk. 🚌🚶‍♂️ When I got off the bus, I was a bit puzzled. 🤔 It looked like I was in a rural area with farmland and lawns. I opened Google Maps and walked through residential neighborhoods, lush forest paths, and along a river. Just when it felt like the journey would never end, the museum appeared—just like something out of a fairytale. ✨🏰🌲 The museum isn’t large, and its exterior is all glass. You can catch glimpses of its beautiful interior from outside, which builds the anticipation! 🌌 No wonder people say it’s a piece of art inside and out. Many visitors were enjoying afternoon tea at a café outside—perfect weather, not too hot, not too sunny. 🍵☁️ Inside, the exhibitions are limited, but depending on your pace, you could complete your visit in 1-2 hours. Overall, it’s really interesting.
