Years have passed, and Dozo is still on top of its game! It feels like every Londoner must have tried this place. A Japanese restaurant with great value and delicious food! Especially during lunch hours (weekdays 12-15) when it's even more affordable! Bento boxes and many Don bowls are just £11.9! You can enjoy Dozo at Eat Tokyo prices! And there's a 10% student discount too! 🎓 The overall vibe is similar to the popular Japanese chain in China, "Jiang Tai Wu Er," with a diverse menu that includes rice bowls, noodles, sashimi, sushi, yakitori... pretty much everything! Their specialty is the delicious sushi rolls, like the Volcano Roll 😋 🌋 Volcano Maki How could a combination of mayo and cheese not be delicious?! The top layer features tobiko (flying fish roe) and shredded squid, with fried eel in the middle! A must-order for every table. The sauce is so good you could dip your shoes in it! 🌟 🍤 Ten Don Never seen such a generous portion of tempura rice bowl! A full bowl packed with both vegetables and shrimp! Even more cost-effective than ordering tempura à la carte. 🐟 Unagi Don Super delicious unagi (eel) rice bowl with no bones! But it does have a slightly sweet taste. 🍖 Other rolls are also yummy – go for the ones with sauce and fried toppings! The yakitori chicken skewer (Tori Negima) was just okay, but definitely try the various tempura and sushi rolls! 🍣 Objectively, they have increased their prices, but the food is still delicious. The place gets really busy in the evenings, so I recommend coming before 6 PM or making a reservation.
