Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve – A Hidden Paradise 🌴✨

As the only RC Reserve in the United States, this gem has been on my bucket list forever. Finally, during my trip to Miami and Orlando, I made the detour to visit—and it was worth every second! I booked the West Beach room with a plunge pool, and the experience was incredible. Step outside, and the ocean greets you—spent whole days lounging on the balcony, dipping in the private pool, and soaking up the sun. ☀️ The service here is impeccable. Staff members go above and beyond, remembering my name (though maybe it’s because I stood out as one of the few Asians around 😅). Their warmth and attention to detail truly elevate the stay. The hotel is nestled in a lush tropical rainforest, and at night, you can hear the adorable chirps of Puerto Rico’s native Coquí frogs—so charming! 🐸🌿 The on-site restaurants? No misses, all delicious. The Piña Colada here is the best I’ve had in Puerto Rico! The floating breakfast was also a highlight—gorgeous and tasty, though beware of sneaky seagulls trying to steal your food. 🍹🍍 The spa’s setting is stunning, with beautifully designed facilities. I booked the treehouse treatment for a dreamy vibe, but… big service fail. My therapist was late, left me waiting in the rain for 10 minutes, and then mistook my 90-minute appointment for 60 minutes. Halfway through, she said, “Okay, we’re done!” and then impatiently asked where I wanted the remaining time spent. 😅 After complaining, the management apologized in person and offered a fair resolution—props for handling it professionally. Final thoughts? The rooms, service, and dining are top-tier—absolutely worth experiencing. But the spa? Felt like a completely different (and much worse) management team.
