Downtown Fort Worth Weekend Half-Day Trip 🌆
There’s a boy named Daniel who refused to take a nap this weekend, so we planned a half-day trip to Fort Worth! 🦖 Here’s how our afternoon went: Downtown Fort Worth felt pretty quiet on the weekend—almost a bit empty (not sure if it was just me 😅). Street parking was free 🚗✅, but we couldn’t find many great food options around. Is Fort Worth a food desert? 🍽️❓ We ended up at Cheesecake Factory. A️⃣ Portions were huge and it was decent. B️⃣ The kiddo didn’t eat much. C️⃣ Ambiance was nice and not crowded, but service was just okay. At 1 PM, we arrived at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History 🦕🦖, and stayed until after 4 PM (it closes at 5). So much to do! Indoor interactive games, outdoor slides, and a sand pit—we’ll definitely be back! ✅ The little one fell asleep as soon as we got in the car 🚗💤, so we took the chance to stop by what I believe was Benbrook Lake 🌊. The water was clear, and plenty of people were swimming! 🏊♂️😎 Dinner was at Dimassi’s Mediterranean Buffet 🥙🍇: A️⃣ Wide variety and plenty of meat B️⃣ The kid ate two whole flatbreads C️⃣ Super friendly service! We wrapped up our half-day trip and got home just in time to catch a beautiful, round orange sunset 🌅🍊. #MyLifeInTheUS #ParentingDiaries #WeekendVibes #FortWorth #Dallas #MuseumWithKids #NoNapKids 😂👶
