🥖My first visit to Kichi Omakase was nothing short of amazing! This tiny sushi bar, tucked away in the heart of Philadelphia, offers an intimate dining experience with only a few seats available each evening. The chef personally prepares each piece of sushi right in front of you, making the experience both elegant and unforgettable. 🥖The restaurant is small but exudes a quiet and refined atmosphere, perfect for a date or a special night out dedicated to enjoying a luxurious sushi meal. Each seat is positioned around the chef, allowing you to watch him meticulously craft each piece of sushi, adding a sense of ceremony to the dining experience. 🌟The omakase menu includes over a dozen courses, starting with an appetizing oyster granita and moving on to a variety of high-end sashimi, torched sushi, and even a beef and sea urchin combination. Each dish is expertly crafted with layers of flavor. 🌟Some of my personal favorites were: Torched Salmon: It melts in your mouth with just the right amount of fat. Beef and Sea Urchin: The rich flavors are so intense that you can't help but exclaim "wow" with the first bite. Sea Urchin Hand Roll: Extremely fresh with no hint of fishiness, perfectly paired with crispy nori. 🌟The price is $95 per person, plus tips. While it’s on the higher side, it’s absolutely worth it.
