Drunkard's Diary | New York Brandy Library (2)🥃
🥃It's a rare opportunity to try some unique brandies here. I highly recommend that you give a try to the brandy from Spain on the menu, such as El Maestro Sierra… Solera Gran Reserva. Aged in sherry casks, it boasts a rich profile of nuts, dried fruits, oak, caramel, and a hint of sherry's savory umami. Don't forget to chat with the bartenders! They are truly knowledgeable about the distillation process of each liquor, and it was my first time learning about Spain's unique Solera System. 🥂 To wrap up the evening, I tried two Spanish sherries for the first time: 🥃 Palo Cortado VORS 30 years, Bodegas Tradición: With flavors of nuts, dried fruits, citrus peel, and the distinctive savory notes of sherry. Matusalem Cream Sherry: An amazing texture, rich and thick, with a strong caramel flavor, making it a very sweet and indulgent drink. In summary, the ambiance, the drinks, and the service were all exceptional! I highly recommend this place. 🌟 🥃 The focus is mainly on straight spirits, but the cocktails are also quite good. Everyone should come and give it a try. #New York Life #Brandy 🥃🌟
