Dublin's New Top Restaurant | D'Olier Street 🥂

For a special occasion, I booked this newly Michelin-starred restaurant in the city center. I was expecting a typical fine dining experience. The seating was at the bar by the open kitchen, where you could watch the chefs hustle and bustle right in front of you. It was a great view! 👨‍🍳 The **Tasting Menu** had 13 courses. The chef personally explained each dish as it was served. The first appetizer was a delightful surprise! Duck with a hint of spiciness from Mexican chili peppers—it was love at first bite. The shellfish waffle with trout, kale, and caviar was a perfect balance of freshness and richness. 🦆 The rabbit skewers had a very Japanese-inspired taste. My favorite was the foie gras mousse with English muffins—it was incredibly smooth. 🍔 Lobster tail with lobster bisque, paired with orange, was sweet yet savory. The sous-vide flounder was perfectly firm, with smoked white beans and soft edamame, served with caviar toast. 🦐 The lamb with apricot was perfectly roasted, with the crispy parts being the most fragrant. The dessert course was delightful and not overly sweet, which is high praise! My personal favorites were the strawberry sorbet and panna cotta. 🍓 🕑 The total dining time was 2.5 hours. 💭 The menu incorporated a lot of Asian flavors and cooking techniques, as well as elements of molecular gastronomy. It was an experience that exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it! 📍 **D'Olier Street Restaurant** #Ireland #DublinLife #RestaurantRecommendation #Michelin #BirthdayRestaurant
