Dublin's Temple Bar: Popular Irish Cuisine at The Old Mill

Temple Bar is the liveliest and most bustling bar district in Dublin. A must-visit here is the famous Irish restaurant, The Old Mill. Page 2: LAMB SHANK Irish Braised Lamb Shank. The meat is incredibly tender and falls off the bone with just a fork. The lamb is fragrant with no gaminess. However, it doesn't have a particularly unique flavor profile; it feels like a classic slow-cooked lamb shank. 4/5🌟, €23.95. Page 3: L-BEEF STEW WITH MASH Similar to beef bourguignon, this stew comes in a small bowl with beef chunks, potatoes, carrots, and other vegetables. The sauce is flavorful, and dipping the mashed potatoes in it is delightful. The beef is not tough. 4/5🌟, €15.95. Page 4: IRISH COFFEE One of Ireland's specialties, Irish coffee is made with whiskey, coffee, and cream. The taste is quite memorable, with a strong aroma of spirits, but the coffee and alcohol flavors are subtle. I didn't particularly enjoy it, but it was worth trying. €7.80. Page 5: GUINNESS Guinness is Ireland's national beer. It has a dark color, with a mild carbonation but a rich malt aroma and a fine head. Compared to yellow beers, I found this one slightly more palatable. 💰 The average cost per person is around €25. The prices are slightly higher than in the UK (€7.30 to £8.30). 💰 I used my UK Monzo card, which worked perfectly. Other cards like Starling should also be accepted. There's no need to bring any euros! ✅ Lunch is served after 11 a.m. ✅ The place was full, but there was no queue when I arrived at 11 a.m. ✅ It can get a bit noisy, but that's understandable given the lively atmosphere. ✅ The decor is fantastic, with walls adorned with various interesting decorations, each with its own story. ✅ No reservation is needed; you can walk in directly. 📍 Address: 14 Bath Ave, Dublin 4, D04 Y726, Ireland #Ireland #StudyingInIreland #IrelandTravel #DublinTravel #Dublin #IrishCuisine #Belfast #BelfastTravel #BelfastRestaurants #BelfastFood #BelfastExploration #NorthernIreland #UnitedKingdom #NorthernIrelandFood #BelfastSurroundings #UKTravel #Food #Restaurant #IrishDishes #BraisedLambShank #BeefStew #IrishCoffee #Irish🇮🇪Coffee
