Dublin Food Adventure | Ex-Michelin 2-Star Chef's Creative Cuisine 🎩✨
Kicky's 💰 ~€80+ per person Helmed by Chapter One's former head chef (who maintained Michelin stars) and a veteran hotel manager. Impeccable service - they even wipe the table when changing cutlery! 🧽 Each dish comes with detailed explanations on how to enjoy it best. They genuinely care about customers having a delightful experience. 💫 The restaurant features bright, warm and vibrant decor. Limited seating - reservations highly recommended! Dinner requires minimum 3 courses per person (including 1 main). Fun fact: Nearly every table looked confused by the menu! 😂 🍴 Potato Focaccia with Bacon Egg Butter Their signature dish (every table orders it - but share one!). A massive fluffy focaccia served warm with whipped bacon butter & crispy pork cheek. 🥓 🍴 Fried Cod Croquettes Set of four - crispy outside, melt-in-your-mouth inside. Tartar sauce & pickles cut through the richness perfectly. 🍴 Iberian Ham Beautifully marbled with noticeable nutty flavors - you can actually taste the quality! 🐷 🍴 Poached Peach With purple artichoke chips, pistachio cream & burrata. Champagne vinaigrette + peaches = surprisingly magical combo! 🍑 🍴 Mullet Fish The weakest dish - not worth main course price. Odd seasoning and stingy on the lobster. (Though the fregola side was a revelation!) 🍴 Iberian Pork Shoulder Incredibly tender despite being lean cut. Mildly seasoned meat pairs well with spicy sauce. Comes with insanely crispy potato mille-feuille! 🥔 🍴 Dry-Aged Sirloin (for two) 40-day aged beef with salad and fried potatoes. Good quality though some bits were charred. Oyster mushrooms on top were slightly salty. 🥩 🍴 Basque Cheesecake PERFECTION - deeply caramelized crust without bitterness. The center was at that magical between-solid-and-liquid state. 🤤 #Michelin #Ireland #FoodieAdventure #DublinEats #IrishLife #CarbLover #FineDining
