No wonder everyone says this is the best Korean spot in Philly! The location isn’t the most convenient—entrance is low-key, and the nearby Hmart closes at 8 PM 😅—but parking is easy. Banchan (side dishes) included a fried fish for each person (so good!), plus veggie sides. The kimchi tasted fresh—lightly fermented, not sour yet. All three dishes we ordered were absolutely incredible! Highly recommend: 🦀 Gejang (Marinated Raw Crab) The best soy-marinated crab I’ve had in the U.S.! Topped with a thick, sweet-spicy sauce—a bit salty but perfect with rice. The crab meat was sweet, creamy, and amazing! 🦑 Ojingeo Bokeum (Sizzling Plate Squid & Tofu) Served sizzling and steaming hot—how could squid not be delicious like this? Underneath were big chunks of fried tofu soaking up the savory sauce. Next level! 🍲 Galbi Stew (Beef Short Rib Soup) They separate the meat from the bone right at the table. The broth is clear, subtly sweet, and the meat is fall-apart tender.
