Early December in Seville
The beauty of Seville is multifaceted ๐ In a garden full of emerald green, splashes of jumping orange Tall trunks intertwine with the azure sky Where the sun shines, shadows accentuate ๐ In the passionate steps of flamenco, shouting with joy Lost in the geometric diagonals tending towards infinity Diversity and fusion embody innovation and prosperity ๐ With me, Seville should be a city to slow down and settle oneโs heart But I cannot tear my eyes away, afraid to miss any detail ๐ Suitable for anyone willing to seek โbeautyโ with their own eyes May you also put down your camera, your makeup, and slowly discover Hidden in the corners blooming with flowers, in the lush greenery, and between each brick and tile ๐ May you also see the infinite in the finite of geometric tiles May we all find the infinite in the limited span of our brief lives ๐ Lodging at the Room Salvador hostel within the ancient city, with this as the center, the main sights are all within walking distance: โณ๏ธ The Parasol is just around the corner โณ๏ธ The cathedral and the palace are a ten-minute walk, with the two attractions adjacent โณ๏ธ From the palace to the Spanish Square, an additional ten minutes โณ๏ธ El Salvador church is right behind the hostel ๐ช The hostel doesnโt have a laundry room; itโs a 7-minute walk to the laundry store The upside is that itโs fast and clean Equipped with outlets, you can charge while you wash Wash and dry for about an hour, around ten euros (15 kg) ๐ From the airport to the hostel/ancient city, for groups, you can go for uber/bolt without a second thought For solo travelers, the bus is five euros But just like in London, everyone is kicked off before the final stop, so itโs a 23-minute walk to the hostel, be prepared mentally ๐ Flamenco, I chose the museum version, booked in advance as it sells out quickly A week before the performance, due to a change in schedule, I sent an email requesting a time change and immediately received new tickets, confirmed that ticket changes are possible ๐ I bought a combo ticket for the two churches online, both have different interior styles and visiting both doesnโt conflict. The Seville Cathedral requires advance booking for a time, while El Salvador has no restrictions ๐ The palace also requires advance booking for a time; staff will check the time at entry, and you must enter at the designated time. The palace isnโt large, but Iโve seen the beauty and richness of the Kingdom of Dorne with my own eyes, imagining Game of Thrones scenes, it was worth it ๐ The visit time for the cathedral and the palace with an audio guide is 2-3 hours, the content isnโt too intense; the flamenco show is one hour. I stayed for two nights, if time is limited, two days and one night is more comfortable; for those on a tight schedule, one day is doable but time management is key ๐ #OffTheBeatenPath #Spain #Seville #GameOfThrones
