East Coast Getaway - Charleston Healing Guide π
"Charleston is like Godβs spilled palette, isnβt it?" π¨ With Juneteenth and Independence Day coming up, itβs the perfect time for a 3-day short trip! βοΈ Direct flights from PVD, Boston, and JFK β I took a 6:30 AM flight from PVD and landed in Charleston at 8:30 AM. It felt like stealing a whole extra day! π Must-Visit Spots 1οΈβ£ Rainbow Row π The colorful houses near Waterfront Park are incredibly picturesque β perfect for wearing a bright dress and taking photos! ππΈ π Movie-Inspired Locations 2οΈβ£ Cypress Gardens A hidden gem 30 mins from downtown! This is where The Notebook swan boat scene was filmed β the very reason I came to Charleston. Remember crying under the covers in high school while watching it? Now Iβve finally visited the real location! π₯π§ Tickets: $12/person Pro tip: Use a wide-angle lens to capture the reflections and trees. Overcast days add a dreamy, cinematic vibe β misty and magical! π«οΈβ¨ π¨ Accommodation Prices are reasonable β $150-$200 gets you a nice stay. Hyatt and Hilton are similarly priced. β Overall Experience Perfect for a 3-day weekend! I took one day of PTO and extended the trip to Savannah β will share about that soon too! Both are destinations Iβd revisit in a heartbeat. π #TheNotebookFilmingLocation #USATravel #CouplesTravel #CinematicVibes #HiddenGems #AmericanSouth #CharlestonTravel #HealingViews #TravelOOTD #OffTheBeatenPath #EastCoastTravel #SouthCarolina #LongWeekend #NewYork #RhodeIsland #Boston π¬πΏ
