"Charleston is like God’s spilled palette, isn’t it?" 🎨 With Juneteenth and Independence Day coming up, it’s the perfect time for a 3-day short trip! ✈️ Direct flights from PVD, Boston, and JFK — I took a 6:30 AM flight from PVD and landed in Charleston at 8:30 AM. It felt like stealing a whole extra day! 👉 Must-Visit Spots 1️⃣ Rainbow Row 🌈 The colorful houses near Waterfront Park are incredibly picturesque — perfect for wearing a bright dress and taking photos! 👗📸 👉 Movie-Inspired Locations 2️⃣ Cypress Gardens A hidden gem 30 mins from downtown! This is where The Notebook swan boat scene was filmed — the very reason I came to Charleston. Remember crying under the covers in high school while watching it? Now I’ve finally visited the real location! 🎥💧 Tickets: $12/person Pro tip: Use a wide-angle lens to capture the reflections and trees. Overcast days add a dreamy, cinematic vibe — misty and magical! 🌫️✨ 🏨 Accommodation Prices are reasonable — $150-$200 gets you a nice stay. Hyatt and Hilton are similarly priced. ✅ Overall Experience Perfect for a 3-day weekend! I took one day of PTO and extended the trip to Savannah — will share about that soon too!
