Eating and Drinking in My First Year in New York (2)🍴🍸
Mori🥃 Not expensive. Every piece of sushi has a crispy topping, so when you bite into it, it feels like you’re eating a potato chip. 🍟 Sip and Guzzle's Sip The ice cream was amazing! Tomato Tree was good, Gimlet was good, and Chinatown was good too. The rest were pretty average. 🍦 🥃 Double Chicken Please Drinking here feels like eating a meal, so why not just go eat? The drinks have a very strong (innovative) artificial flavor. 🥤 Dead Rabbit A very American-style bar. The Scotch Egg was great, and the drinks perfectly capture the essence of American cocktails, with a clear separation of alcohol and flavor. 🥃 La Tête d’Or by Daniel A fancy steakhouse. The Caesar salad was truly delicious. I’m not a big steak fan, but this is probably some of the best steak you can get in New York. 🍖 Jo Kaiseki-style dining, and it was pretty good. The portions were just huge, though. I got full halfway through, and after that, everything started to taste the same. 🍣 #NewYork #NYCEats #NYCDrinks 🌇🌟
