Eating in Vegas ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿคฉ Part 2

๐Ÿฅข Washing Potato Verdict: Delicious! Located inside Fontainebleau, this spot serves Cantonese cuisine. I was really craving fried rice that day, and after some searching, we ended up here. We ordered Yangzhou fried rice, Hainanese chicken, and a dessert that turned out to be fried sesame balls with red bean paste โ€” so smooth and satisfying! The fried rice truly hit the spot โ€” total comfort food. Also, the decor is pretty unique โ€” stage-like with spotlights on the ceiling. Not sure if it was originally a performance space turned restaurant or just designed that way, but it adds to the vibe! ๐Ÿ” Viva Verdict: Pretty average. The food was just okay โ€” nothing special โ€” but the service was excellent. Because our food took too long, the server comped us a fruit platter ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ™Œ! Honestly, the fruit (so fresh!) and the burger fries were the best part of the mealโ€ฆ not much else to rave about. ๐Ÿฅก Red 8 Verdict: Decent. Inside Wynn, another Cantonese spot โ€” this Chinese-stomach just loves Chinese food! We ordered stir-fried noodles, laksa soup noodles, turnip cake, and spicy-sour xiaolongbao. Nothing blew us away, but nothing was bad either โ€” solid, unmemorable eats. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ The Buffet at Wynn An all-you-can-eat inside Wynn โ€” brunch is cheaper than dinner. They even had corn porridge โ€” such a nostalgic surprise! The variety was impressive, with good quality across the board. First time seeing a "mountain of shrimp" at a buffet โ€” pretty eye-catching! Their sushi was excellent โ€” fresh seafood and great flavor. Desserts were abundant and beautifully presented, though most were way too sweet (maybe 2 out of 10 were just sweet enough for me ๐Ÿ˜…). They also had churros with filling โ€” but again, overly sweet for my taste. ๐ŸŒฟ Lemongrass Verdict: Just okay. Located in Aria โ€” Iโ€™d seen good reviews online, but maybe I ordered wrong? We tried a stir-fried noodle dish and chicken noodle soup. The soup broth was bland, and the chicken breast was dry. The noodles had a strong Southeast Asian herb flavor that just wasnโ€™t for me. #LasVegasEats #VegasFoodie #CantoneseFood #WynnBuffet #FoodReview ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿฅข๐ŸŽฐ
