Eating My Way Through New York's Italian Eateries(3)
Lilia One of the hard - to - book and very popular Italian restaurants, but it was really disappointing. π’π The bread was good, with a thin, crispy crust and a soft, moist, and chewy interior. The sauce for the small seafood dish was well - made and quite fragrant. But the other appetizers were just bad, like emm. The pasta was terrible, either bland or overly greasy. πA Pasta Bar A small pasta place in Soho that offers a pasta tasting. The texture is chewy but not too hard, which should be pretty acceptable. The combination of tomato sauce, pistachio, and burrata was surprisingly good and refreshing. π’π Piccola Cucina Estiatorio Another popular place in Soho. Personally, I think it's fine but not necessary. It has no standout features. The portions are quite substantial. If you pass by, you can grab a bite. π Song' E Napule A friend said this used to be a pizza place with long lines. It's still popular, but it's easier to get a table now. π’π The crust has a fermented and wheaty aroma, but it's soft overall. The flavor is light and not heavy. #NewYorkExploration #HiddenGemRestaurants #NewYorkLife ππ
