Edinburgh’s Hidden Gem Greek Restaurant FavaRecommendation

🌕How can anyone not know about this treasure trove of Greek cuisine in Edinburgh?! Super authentic and delicious, with a top-notch decor that’s full of Greek Mediterranean charm 🥹. 🌕For starters, we ordered Spanakopita and Papoutsaki. The former is the famous Greek spinach pie, with a crispy crust and a salty spinach filling, similar to a vegetable cake. The latter is roasted eggplant with cheese and tomato on top, also delicious. 🌕For the main course, the four of us ordered two mixed Grill plates, which were very generous portions, enough to stuff three guys and a girl. The pita bread wrapped around the grilled meat was incredibly flavorful 🥹. The most recommended is the Pork gyro with fries, less than 8 pounds and it’s simply divine!! Actually, one gyro per person here is enough to fill you up; we really over-ordered. 🌕The desserts were also huge portions. We ordered baklava and Sokolatopita, which are baklava and a chocolate cake with ice cream, both worth trying, but Greek desserts are quite sweet. 🌕The average cost is 15-20 pounds, pretty good value for money. If you have the chance, you must try it, located near Haymarket train station, close to the Spice Bar. #Edinburgh #UK #EdinburghCafeHopping #HiddenGemRestaurant #EdinburghFood #EdinburghRestaurant #BritishFood #GreekCuisine #Students #EdinburghUniversity
