Efteling: The "Dutch Disneyland" 🎠

Last semester, I worked on an algorithm project optimizing Efteling's park routes—this semester, I finally visited this storybook-themed amusement park in person! ✨ Park Highlights Dark fairy tale vibe: Lifelike (but slightly creepy) sculptures depict classic stories—kids seem unfazed though! Weekend crowds: 1-hour waits for roller coasters (mostly Dutch families). Open 10AM-8PM—we rode all coasters (thrills are mild, but theming is top-notch!). 🎢 Best Rides 1️⃣ Vogel Rok: Pitch-black indoor coaster—disorienting fun! 2️⃣ Python / De Vliegende Hollander / Baron 1898 Vliegende Hollander (water coaster) wins for immersive queue + fog/light effects! 3️⃣ Droomvlucht: A "floating" dark ride through fairy tales—skip the spinning room (it’s nausea city!). 🍟 Food & Tips Prices are fair (hot dogs, fish & chips).
