On my third visit to this city… I finally saw the mountain’s true face! 📍 Egmont National Park, Mt. Taranaki ⚠️ Heads up: Two entrances: North side = Scenic viewpoints 🚗 South side = Hiking trails 🥾 *Only 10km apart… but a 1-hour drive between them!* Double-check your GPS! Knees beware! Downhill stairs are tough—bring a brace if needed. Sunset hikers: Start early! The descent in darkness is no joke. ⛅️ Crucial: Check the weather forecast!
